Dr. Ben Goldberg
Dr. Ben Goldberg was one of the charter members of the Vanier
Board of Directors. It was with his knowledge and direct
involvement, as a child psychiatrist of emotionally disturbed
children, that Madame Vanier Children's Services was created.
On January 9, 2002, Dr. Goldberg was the distinguished recipient
of the Amethyst Award presented by the Province of Ontario for
Outstanding Public Service. Furthermore, Dr. Goldberg is to receive
a Senior Life Membership in the Canadian Medical Association to be
presented in his hometown of St. John, New Brunswick, in August
2002.
Dr. Goldberg is truly a friend to children and families
everywhere, and we appreciate his lifetime of dedicated
service.
